History of JPS

Here is a brief history of the establishment of the Department of Irrigation and Drainage, Kelantan :

Before 1956	- Responsible under function of Irrigation and Drainage Infrastructure.
1956	- JPT Kelantan was established, centered at JKR Kelantan, Jalan Kuala Krai.
1979	- JPT Kelantan has been transferred to Wisma JPS, Jalan Sultan Yahya Petra.
	- Hydrology section, and Planning Workshop centered at Jalan Telipot (Pusat Giat Mara now).
	- Kelantan Wilayah Timur placed at Wisma JPS.
	- Kelantan Wilayah Barat placed at Pasir Mas.
1990	- JPS offices still exists until now.
